Thales was a pre-Socratic Greek philosopher from Miletus. It is said that he is one of the first Greek philosophers ever. He was trying to discover an explanation of the existence of the world without using mythology. Many other philosophers looked up to him and he later got the nickname of the " Father of Science ". He brought many new ideas to the scientific revolution because he did not believe in mythology. Thales was also called one of the first mathmaticians. He was the first one to use the deductive reasoning that applied to geometry, which led to Thale's Theorem.
